3rd January 2012 - The amazing world of golf is a lifestyle of many sorts for many people the world over. People who are a part of it understand the benefits of this wonderful sport. It is not an easy sport as many claim it to be. In fact the game needs a very high amount of skill and precision like no other sport. The likes of Tiger Woods and Rory McIlroy who are the modern superstars of the game need the best equipment to play the beautiful game. Amongst many things such as the golf ball, Golf Clubs, tees, ball maker and many other golf equipments, the club is the most important piece of equipment.
In the game of golf, we use the club to hit the golf ball. Each club has three components of which they are made of. They are a clubhead and a shaft with a grip. Normally, in one set of a golf bag, you will find 14 golf clubs that are further divided into one putter, three to four woods and about 9 irons. Putters, woods and irons are kinds of clubs used for different types of shots.
A putter is usually used at the end of each course on the green when the golfer has to roll the golf ball into the cup. We use woods for long distance fairways or for taking tee shots. Irons are a very unique breed of clubs. They are used to take a variety of different types of shots.
The three core components of the club, the clubhead, shaft and grip are made out of different materials for different clubs. Woods are made out of various kinds of wood. Shafts are made of steel, carbon fiber, titanium or other kinds of metals. The shafts are basically a narrowed steel tube which helps improve the accuracy of golfer. Rubber or leather is used to make the grips of the club.
Golf is a perfect way for the working man to relieve some stress with his friends. Though it is quite a rage among old men too, those just love to have a relaxing time with their friends. The use of a properly made Golf Clubs can go a long way in making this sport much more enjoyable.
