The Kansas City Chiefs improved to 11-0 straight up and 8-3 against the spread in their last 11 games with their Wild Card win against the Houston Texans. The Chiefs are on the road again, this time to take on the defending Super Bowl champion New England Patriots.

Kansas City is a 5-point road underdog at Gillette Stadium, according to sportsbooks monitored by OddsShark.com. In their last four games as a favorite of 5.5 points or less, the Patriots are just 1-3 SU and ATS.

Fans and bettors, who hadn't been paying attention to how well the Chiefs have been playing over the last few months, got to see their skill on display in a 30-0 blowout win over the Texans last week. The Chiefs dominated the game on both sides of the ball and don't seem to have any glaring weaknesses.

During the team's 11-game winning streak, the Chiefs averaged 28 points per game while allowing only 11.6 points per game.

The only bad news to come out of the game was an ankle injury to star wide receiver Jeremy Maclin, who is currently listed as day-to-day but is unlikely to be at 100 percent if he does play against New England.
