• A moving part

These names are made according to their uses on an injection molding machine.

The nozzle mold: allows the passage of the material of the sleeve to the channels or the footprint. It also ensures the tight contact between the mold and the sheath.

Back plate (or sole) (injection side): Supports the centering washer, the molded nozzle and the guide columns, as well as the clamping (attachment of the mold on the press plate) and contains the control circuit of temperature.

Guide ring: Guide the guide columns

Fixed impression plate (injection side): It contains the female part of the impression. Allows the fixing of guide columns, contains the temperature control circuit.

Guiding columns: Allows guiding in translation the moving part on the fixed part to perfectly align the impression.

Mobile impression plate (ejection side): It contains the core (male part of the impression) and allows the fixing of the centering sleeves and contains the control circuit.

Ejectors: Eject the part when the mold is open.

Recoil ejector (reset pin): these are cylindrical elements allowing the ejection battery to be reset to its initial position to avoid damaging the cavity by the ejector-imprint contact and the buckling of the ejectors during the closing of the mold, in the case of a non-coupled ejection.

Carrot teaser (or carrot extractor): Allows extraction of the carrot, so when opening, the feed (cluster) does not remain blocked in the fixed part.

Rear plate / bottom plate (ejection side): Allows blocking in translation of the ejection battery, allows the clamping of the mold on the movable plate, also allows the fixing of the cleats.

Ejection battery: It consists of the ejector plate and the ejection plate. It allows the translation of the carrot, the return ejectors and ejectors.

The ejector plate: supports ejectors.

Against ejector plate: It immobilizes the ejectors in translation.

Thermal control circuit: Regulates the temperature of the mold and the cooling of the cluster (with water).

Clamping grooves: Allows fixing of the mold on the press plate (by clamps).

Spacer (Eject Brackets): Provides optimal travel of the eject battery.

Quick coupling: Allows quick connection of the water circuit.
