Das Ergebnis: Der Akku ist gewachsen. Im neuen Modell besitzt er 58 Wattstunden, statt 49,2 wie im Vorgänger. Die Akkulaufzeit soll allerdings identisch sein und sich nicht verbessert haben. Etwas besser soll dagegen der Sound der Lautsprecher sein. Sie sind nun länger und etwas schmaler ausgeführt und sollen für mehr Bass sorgen.

Bei den beiden Medion Akoya E2293 und E3223 handelt es sich um Convertibles, die also auch als Tablets herhalten können. Entsprechend sind Touchscreens mit 1.920 x 1.080 Bildpunkten und jeweils 11,6 bzw. 13,3 Zoll Diagonale verbaut. Zu einem Tablet lassen sich die Geräte dank eins 360°-Scharniers umfunktionieren. Medion integriert auch einen Fingerabdruckscanner, verzichtet aber auf Lüfter. Die Gehäuse bestehen aus Aluminium.
