According to the latest news, a debt collector misguided the owner of the same day payday loans store. He showed his place of work, dressed up as a sheriff’s deputy to the payday loan lender. Thus he misguided the lender in order to get the payday loans instant approval. A resident of Florida, US claimed that a collector at Cash Plus location near Naples came up to him at his place work place and demanded $180. He was asked for proper identification. Since he did not have appropriate documentation, the collector showed him his gun.
Cash Plus did not have any option other than firing the collector. “He’s not supposed to be doing that,” the store’s manager told the station. It is of prime importance to realize that the collector was employed by the original creditor. He does not belong to any third party debt collection agency.
