Dr. Dov Rand, a medical expert in age management and anti-aging medicine, has recently been awarded the Patient Recognition Award for the fourth consecutive year. Dr. Dov Rand first received the award in 2009 and has since received it every year. Dr. Dov Rand is pleased to announce the latest award and celebrate the high quality patient care provided through the medical center that he founded several years ago, the Healthy Aging Medical Center, which specializes in age management and anti-aging medicine. With over 20 years experience practicing medicine, Dr. Dov Rand has been passionate about the age management field in particular for the last six years.

Dr. Dov Rand attributes his success as a medical practitioner to an emphasis on holistic treatment. “You can’t just treat the symptom, but instead the root causes of ailments, really focusing on the range of options that are available for treatment,” he commented. “People are looking for that kind of care these days – that treats the full person, both in terms of all of their health and medical issues, and also treats them with courtesy and respect.”

One of the ways that Dr. Dov Rand emphasizes holistic treatments is by providing patients with education and information about the newly emerging research and treatment strategies that Dr. Dov Rand uses as his Center. Dr. Dov Rand hosts seminars out of the Healthy Aging Medical Center in order to educate the general public about the research on healthy aging that he has learned at national conferences addressing the topic for healthcare professionals. “It’s important for people to understand the treatment that they’re receiving,” says Dr. Dov Rand.

Patients report feeling greatly satisfied with both the professionalism and the warmth and courtesy extended to them in Dr. Dov Rand’s care. “Both he and his staff are really top notch,” said one patient who has been receiving treatment for hormone balance and weight loss programs. “I always feel like they really go the extra mile to make sure that all of my heath issues are addressed in the best way possible, not just with the easiest or most obvious treatments. I never feel rushed and Dr. Dov Rand really makes sure that his patients understand what’s going on, instead of just explaining everything with inaccessible medical jargon.”

Dr. Dov Rand also commented on the necessity for always working to improve one’s medical practice. “There’s a tendency in the medical community to not think of what we provide as a service that can be improved, to assume that we’re already doing our best for our patients, when nothing could be farther from the truth,” he says. “I’d really like to continue expanding the services that we provide at the Healthy Aging Medical Center, and to keep incorporating the newest research into our practices. It’s tough for me to keep up my medical practice while staying up to date on all the research, but I do try because I want the best for my patients.”

Dr. Dov Rand has plans to pursue further training in the field of age management and anti-aging medicine. He has plans to take his written and oral board exams in anti-aging medicine shortly, and hopes to provide more educational services to inform the general public about new medical research in the field.
