Oct 24, 2019 - Age is just a number is a commonly used saying and the reverse of this phrase is best exemplified by none other than this Canadian teenage singer, David Raynolds. "So Alive", his new album ticks all the merit boxes and is charming the music lovers, worldwide. A lot of thoughts and brainstorming has gone behind the making of the songs. David loves to compose and he has shown this knack when he was just 1. From toying with his toy piano to participating in music competitions and dabbling with different tunes, he has been a very promising and talented soul from childhood.

"So Alive" is replete with a number of amazing tracks. There are completely two original tracks where David has shown his skills and the way he has mastered the art of music composition, deserved accolades galore. He has experimented in the first track with the Oscar winner ‘Shallow’ from the film ‘A Star Is Born’. This song needs no introduction as Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper has done a commendable job. The various shades of David's singing capacity can be assessed in this track. The echo effect has an enviable hooking factor taking the music-madness to the next level. The second song is ''This Is the End.’ and the lovers of EDM are bowing down to this wonderful track, hands down!

While the first two tracks charm the listeners, here’s moving onto the third track, which is a smart take the David way on Timbaland and OneRepublic’s ‘Apologize’. The fourth song in the list is the second original composition of the EP and David deals with the snappy beat making all to fall in love with the beats. The last cover song is Dragostea Din Tei’ which about revisiting the fun days when music, dance consumed one’s life in the youth.

The year 2005 was very special for the doting parents of David Raynolds as a singing star was born in Vancouver that year. He was very keen on learning, practising and experimenting with music since he was a toddler. David participated in the Kiwanis Music Festival in the “Original Composition” section when he was 6 and 7 years of age and he bagged Gold for two consecutive years because of his beautiful original compositions. David moved to Vancouver at the age of 8 and has sung for charity impressing all and sundry. In 2015, David collaborated with Murray Yates of Echoman Records, a name to reckon with as a music producer. With the collective effort of Yates and David, the first album of David saw the light of the day, titled "I Believe In Me." The album was a collection of beautiful songs themed around children. In 2019, David after a break of 3 years, due to voice crack issues during puberty, is back. This pop singer who is often compared to Neil Diamond or Chris Rea, is raring to go and has set a new benchmark with his amazing EP album "So Alive"- a must listen for all the music enthusiasts.
