Basic Copper Carbonate is a chemical product. It must be used in accordance with the requirements. It should not be used excessively. If it is used by individuals, it must be placed in a place where children cannot easily touch it during storage to ensure safety.
Basic copper carbonate is used to determine reducing sugars in film reagents and Bancroft reagents. In the reaction, the divalent copper ions are reduced to a monovalent insoluble red precipitated cuprous oxide, and the basic copper carbonate can also be used to detect proteins in the biuret reagent.
Basic copper carbonate can be used to detect anemia. The blood sample was dropped into a basic copper carbonate solution. If the blood sample contains enough hemoglobin, the blood sample will sink quickly; if the hemoglobin content is not enough, the blood sample will be suspended in the solution.
