In all pharmaceutical processing equipment and food processing industry anybody wants to enter in side production area has to go through Change Room. Change room are for preventing any external dust, dirt entering in the production area and infecting the area. Criticality of the area depends on the Industry and products. But generally a change room has following items. A person enters in side washes his hand, Removes shoes then Crosses Cross Over Bench, Before his/ her feet couch the ground he/ she puts on clean shoes/ slippers. In this area person wears factory Gown/ or cloths, this area is provided with Lockers to keep cloths of people.

Cross over bench is the bench which separates clean area and dirty area. These change room are having Air pressure more that area from which person enters. So that external dirty air does not come in side. The stainless steel lockers suppliers are generally made up of Stainless steel to prevent any dust/ or Rusting. Lockers are having slanted top so that top is visible and storage of any material is not possible. To keep the air fresh inside the Lockers, Lovers are provided; in special cases back side suction is also provided. This area also has Dustbins, Mirror Cupboard for keeping Fresh uniform, Caps, Shoe Covers etc.

Change rooms are gowning rooms where the personnel changes into the clean room garments leaving his unclean garments in the change room. In some GMP pharmaceutical facilities, an airlock serves as a gowning area which is a bad idea. Storage area to place the clean room garments.
