The trek to Everest Base Camp is between 12 to 14 days from past. The journey begins form Lukla and goes through the Himalayas and Sherpa villages. The trek is a blooming route with proper paths rather than a wilderness. You should be used to with high altitude hiking as you will reach elevations above 5000 meters and your body needs to adjust to this altitude. Walks last around 8 hours a day which is tiring and can make you feel awful. The altitude sickness prepares you for the higher altitudes.
