YOUNG GIRL RACES IN MOTORCYCLE RACES
TO FIND A CURE FOR DRAVET SYNDROME

Amagansett, NY --- Her name is Davis Eames. She is twelve years-old and the only pre-teen girl to race ATV motocross in the north east (New England ATV). Out of 140 races, she has finished first 90 times and second 40 times. She’s as cute as a movie star; charming, intelligent, and remarkably modest. And now she wants to devote her young racing career to finding a cure for Dravet Syndrome. Each time she races, she will ask all attendees to contribute to the Dravet Syndrome Foundation.

Davis was inspired to support the Dravet Syndrome Foundation after she witnessed her close friend having a seizure when he visited for a play date. “Every time I think of it, I feel very sad for him and for his family,” said Davis. “Because Dravet Syndrome has no cure, I want to raise money for research, so that my friend can live a normal life. And so can everyone else who suffers from this terrible, heart-breaking disease.” Davis is even embarking on the sale of some of her more than 200 trophies so she can donate money from the sale to the Dravet Syndrome Foundation.

Davis, who started racing ATV’s when she was six-years-old, is the only girl in the north east in her age group who races. She regularly wins her races, and will likely become a national champ. She is a highly determined and competitive. Just recently, she was rushed to a hospital prior to a race because it was thought she had broken her hand. X-rays, however, revealed a bruised and sprained hand, so Davis returned to the race track just in time to enter the next race. She won that race, plus two more. Now she is racing to find a cure for Dravet syndrome. To donate to her campaign, on should visit www.DavisAgainstDravet.com
