Tired of the same day in and day out routine of life? Pack your bags, it’s time to hit the road and see the sites like you’ve always dreamed of.

Boulder, Colorado – Many people have dreamed of traveling to far away lands and relaxing. Are you the individual that stood in the store and spun the globe and thought to yourself, “if money were not an object, and I didn’t have to work the 9 to 5, I’d go to Greece or maybe even Italy”? In your mind travel is for the rich and famous. Not for you right? Author Andrew Hyde had those same thoughts until one day, he decided to grab his backpack and begin the journey of his life over a two year period. He shares about this journey in his latest release, “This Book is About Travel”.

Having spent the last two years on the road, in “This Book is About Travel”, Author Hyde takes the reader on a trip through 15 countries with only a backpack of 15 things to his name as his adventure begins. Many of us would be taking more than 15 items; yet, Author Hyde gave up many of his possessions and comforts in order to live out what he had been dreaming about.

Author Hyde states “After years on the road, I look back and laugh. I was dead wrong; it doesn’t take money, a ridiculous salary or luck of any means. It needs you. Travel needs you”. “This Book is About Travel” shares stories about Nepal, Colombia, Japan, Taiwan, Thailand and more. It takes the reader on a journey through the days, people, stories, ethics and philosophy that bridged the trip.

Author Hyde shares about some very difficult experiences and during others times his stories reveal an amazing mental escape. Readers will come along with the author as he writes from his hut in the high Himalayas or his balcony with a view of the Alps. Readers will learn about different customs, travel requirements and protocols that are required in different countries as they read about the author’s travels.

Why are you not on the road? What is stopping you from packing your bags and saying Hasta la Vista, Baby? “This Book is About Travel” teaches the reader to explore the world and not be stopped by money. Will you begin booking your first international adventure or will you continue to dream about places faraway without seeing them? This Book is About Travel can be purchased from his minimalist blog and Amazon
