Keeping Track of Guidelines for Staying Safe Can Be Confusing in the Time of Coronavirus

Deciphering which regulations apply how and for what reason can be confusing!

The complexities of attempting to maintain some degree of enterprise and human contact while trying not to spread any unfriendly microbes I may have come in contact with may be my undoing. I am not going to my place of work, even masked and gloved, because I was in the home of a friend who had traveled. She went directly from the airport to her home where she put her clothes in strict isolation, a black plastic garbage bag, until wash day, and took a shower. She had stayed masked the entire time she traveled, except for those brief sips of water. She has been very Covid careful from the beginning, and had only traveled because it was a family necessity, at least in her estimation. Then she sanitized her house. We had dinner at her large table, and there was ample distance between us, and then we watched a favorite TV show from seperate sofas. Still, I may have been exposed to whatever she might have been exposed to while traveling, as airports have so much totally random activity. Now, in order for my friends and coworkers to feel safe, and indeed. to ensure I really cause no harm, I am again working from home.

I work with amazing people in the not for profit and faith based community. It is important to me that I care for them by staying away for 14 days after that dinner. "Try to treat others as you would want them to treat you.", L. Ron Hubbard. www.thewaytohappiness.org @waytohappinesstampa
