The OP Jindal School (OPJS) celebrated its sixth annual function on Wednesday with spell-binding cultural programme ‘Razzmatazz’ which included Odissi, Masti Dance, Angel Dance, Telugu, Folk Dance, Semi-Classical Dance, Tandav, Instrumental Music and Skits in English, Hindi and Odia. Angul district Collector Anil Kumar Samal gracing the occasion as chief guest highly appreciated talents showcased by the students through various cultural shows depicting the multidimensional Indian culture.

He encouraged the students to be disciplined and to grab this opportunity for becoming responsible citizens of India. He released school magazine ‘Voyage’ and praised students for their creativity and teachers for their dedication.

In his presidential address, JSPL ED-in-charge and School Managing Committee Chairman DK Saraogi spoke highly of the curricular and extracurricular standard of the school and its achievements.

JSPL, Angul EVP (Projects) Damodar Mittal, VP & Head (HR&ES) and SMC Manager CD Mathew graced the occasion as guest of honour. The rank holders making their mark in various competitions were awarded with prizes.

School Principal Chhanda Charana Das presented the Annual Report of the school and highlighted the school’s progress in academic and non-academic areas. Sangeeta Sharma presented a very cordial vote of thanks. The whole programme came to a splendid end with National Anthem presented by OPJS students in chorus.

Community members, parents and employees of the JSPL were present in large numbers to encourage and witness the students’ splendid performance.
