Small Entrepreneurs Advised to Hire Accountants

Posted May 1, 2015 by starplus

A top accounting firm advises small entrepreneurs to engage the services of an accountant who can help them manage their cash flow and grow their business.

Solex Accounting says that hiring an accountant would prove to be beneficial to small businesses in the long run, particularly when it comes to handling business assets and tax assessments.

The firm believes that even with the availability of user-friendly software like Scottsdale Quickbooks, business owners should leave accounting and tax planning to certified public accountants.

“A Scottsdale CPA can analyze the financial situation of a company and offer strategic advice. The accountant can produce key financial documents like profit and loss statement and be in charge of the payment of taxes,” Solex Accounting said in a statement.

It added that while Gilbertbookkeeping services can perform daily tasks like submission of invoices, bills payment, and tracking of company expenses, accountants can have a more substantial role in the growth of a small business.

“Accountants can review a company’s general ledger system monthly to determine if there are any discrepancies like unrecorded payments or double billings. They can also fix these discrepancies and make a company’s books accurate,” explained Solex Accounting.

The accounting firm also stressed that accountants can serve as de facto chief financial officers of small enterprises, providing financial advice to entrepreneurs particularly on financial strategies like securing a line of credit when introducing new products or services.
“Accountants can even help in networking and referrals. CPAs may have other customers that they can refer to small entrepreneurs for potential business partnerships, or for selling and buying,” Solex Accounting added.

In closing, the Chandler, AZ-based accounting firm said small businesses would have a better chance of improving their operations if they are to hire professional accountants.
“Small entrepreneurs should leave accounting to the professionals, so they can get expert advice and guidance. Plus, they can concentrate more on their business operations.”
