Traveling is a passion for many youngsters. Henri and Charles from France shared the same passion. Henri and Charles met each other at business school (in France) a few years back.
Together they decided to take one year off to travel before finishing their studies.
Their quest for adventure, meeting people and experiencing nature made them choose cycling as their mode to explore the world. The two of them were not professional cyclists but they were confident that the motivation would help them to succeed in their ride through Europe and Asia.

They started in the end of June 2012 from Lille in France and cycled until Moscow. They crossed Russia and reached China using the Transsiberian train. From Beijing they started cycling again and went through the South-east Asia until Bangkok. From Bangkok as it was not possible to enter Myanmar by road, they decided to fly to Mumbai and cycle from there to Pondicherry.

After 12 months and 15000 kms of cycling across Europe and Asia, Charles and Henri decided to end the ride on a Montra. Montra is a premium bicycle brand manufactured by TI cycles of India. They chose to complete the last lap of 200 odd kms from Pondicherry to Chennai on a Montra Blues, which is a hybrid bike. “After using global brands for the tour, I was surprised with the high quality and light weight of the bike” said Henri. Charles who is 6 ft 2 inches said “ I usually face a problem with bike fit even abroad due to my height, but the Montra blues fit me great and this was the most efficient lap of our ride so far”. Now with their mission completed, they are all set to fly back to France to complete education!
