Jim Stefan is known to many as the owner and chief executive officer of a number of Australian companies, including the Lloyd Harrison Entertainment Group, Lloyd Harrison Music, Platform3 Media, and EMPV Model and Talent Management Agency. When Jim Stefan is not busy running his entertainment management enterprises or devoting valuable time and money to a number of non-profit organizations in New South Wales, he enjoys practicing a variety of martial art forms.

Jim Stefan has reached a high level in three different types of martial arts: Tae Kwon Do, Jeet Kune Do, and combat style Karate. The black belt is the highest level of achievement that one can reach in most martial arts. When asked about how he achieved this impressive level of martial arts competence, Jim Stefan had this to say:

"Honestly, it was really a matter of making the choice to dedicate the time necessary to achieving black belt status. Too many people give up on their hobbies and passions when the pressures and time constraints of their professional lives start to impose too much on their free time. Throughout my life, my love of martial arts was a constant presence in my life. Subsequently, I always made sure to make the time to pursue my passions in Tae Kwon Do, June Keet Do, and combat style Karate."

Despite the fact that Jim Stefan has reached the highest possible achievement level in these three forms of martial arts, Jim Stefan says that he is by no means done with his pursuit of the sport. We asked him what his goals for his martial arts practice were for the coming years and Jim Stefan said:

"Obviously I am planning to continue my practice of the martial arts. As an internationally certified instructor in combat style Karate, my hope and aim is to begin and continue teaching combat style Karate classes in my community here in New South Wales."
