Right now I can't think of anyone that I know who never attended a mykonos party aboard or a bachelorette party... Although many of my friends and acquaintances are not married; typically or not but that's a different story, I'm pretty sure that all of them or at least the vast majority has gone at least to one bachelor or bachelorette party at some point in their life. And why is that? Because it's a habit, a fashion, a chance to break out, a must-do thing before a wedding.

A bachelorette party is planned for a bride-to-be. Usually these parties are planned for by the best woman or by a sibling or a close friend of the bride. I've had the pleasure of attending a couple of bachelorette parties and I must admit that I've enjoyed them very much! Therefore I'm going to say some things I experienced and I hope that you may find some tips and ideas about the bachelorette party you will plan or attend.

We planned a rather big event for two very close friends 4 years ago and it was a long weekend event in Mykonos; a renowned island for its vibrancy day and night and also a top-scoring destination for bachelor and bachelorette parties as well. Scheduled for late June, it was the ideal setting for our party. We were 15 ladies celebrating 2 brides-to be, so you can imagine the buzz we created everywhere we had gone. For 3 consecutive days, we were partying all day and all night, starting at 12 in the noon until 6 or 7 in the morning. We drunk a lot, danced a lot, we played a lot of drinking games, swam a lot and we've been to every trendy beach bar, club, bar on the island. Of course in order to keep up with our busy and fun schedule, we hardly slept..mostly on the beach at noon in between partying.
