The 2016 Xuzhou Medical University sports meeting is just around the corner so every school is putting in their best effort to do better than they did last year. The pre-selection for tug of war took place at the long tennis court last Sunday, 16th October 2016.

The 12 schools that participated in the tug of war were divided into 4 groups, each group comprising of 3 teams. There were 3 rounds; the team that won two of those rounds emerged as the winner of the match.

For the first time, our international team made it into the finals which will be held at the sports meeting. Against pharmacology and stomatology teams, we won the first two rounds. Against the nursing team, we lost the first round but we won the remaining two thus emerging as one of the top 4 teams that will go to the finals which will be held on Oct. 22nd, 2016.

This year’s sports meet is already proving to be a memorable one for the international students and we hope to do even better in the games to come.
