Wilson Logistics Promotes New Director Of Safety

STRAFFORD, MO
Wilson Logistics kicked off its December with the promotion of Jeff Fields as its new Director of
Safety, making him responsible for the company's overall safety, driver training, and compliance
programs. Fields previously served as Wilson’s Safety Manager.
Jeff Fields has been in the transportation industry for over two decades. He obtained his
Class-A CDL license in 1992 and drove for independent contractors for five years hauling feed,
commodities, and cattle.
For the past twenty-five years, Jeff has worked as a trainer, helping thousands of professionals
transition into their truck driving careers. Of those twenty-five years, the last six have been with
Wilson Logistics.
Jeff prides himself on educating drivers regarding safety, responsibility to the motoring public,
and profitability. He has a passion for driver safety and a constant desire to help prospective and
current drivers achieve success through a safe career in truck driving.
In Jeff’s new role, he will be responsible for the company's overall Safety, Driver Training,
Claims, and Compliance programs including operating authority updates with Federal Motor
Carrier Safety Regulations.
Jeff and his wife Christy have been happily married for thirty-one years. Together, they have four
children and seven grandkids. They love to travel to faraway places and experience new
scenery.
