The Centre for Leadership & Change, O.P. Jindal Global University in association with Career Development and Placement Division and HR Club of Jindal Global Business School is hosting the 2nd HR Conclave on the theme “Managing the Three Es: Expectations, Employees and E-Space” at its Sonipat campus on the 19th of this month.

The theme for the conclave has been conceptualized keeping in mind the current realities. Continual change today is the business driver. Market turbulence has come to stay.  Technology both is impacted by and in turn impacts the nuances of the “E-space”. This has implications for the changing nature and context of work and the working environment. Employees get impacted by these changes in more ways than one. The expectations of today’s employees about their work, their bosses, their workplace values and culture thus understandably are of a very different kind. In this hyper informed/hyperlinked world of people, processes, data and things, the E-space becomes an arena of varied possibilities. The digital world, the social media space and the nitizens of today create an ecosystem which has unique implications for organisations of today.

Speaking ahead of the conclave Prof. C Raj Kumar Founding Vice Chancellor, O.P. Jindal Global University emphasized the relevance of the theme and the purpose of the conclave and said, “Balancing the three Es- Expectations, Employees and E-Space in any organization becomes an imminent imperative. Management of these becomes both an art as much as science , while  conventional wisdom may provide a few answers, chances are that un-conventional paradigms will have to be found and exploited. Both the parameters as well as the drivers of success will have to be re-calibrated and re-defined. To explore these interesting arenas of organization behavior, culture and design; the Second HR Conclave 2015 is being organized with a view to sensitize, conceptualize, enunciate and draw up a roadmap to execute and navigate through the wondrous emerging possibilities in the field of Human Resource Management.“

The day long conclave will witness several plenary sessions around contemporary and relevant sub themes like:
The art and science of managing the expectations of the employees in the E-changing world of disruptive technology.
Expectations of the new age workforce vs the conventional employee.
Expectations from the workforce- an organizational perspective.
The impact of the ever expansive E-space on employees and their expectations- how easy or difficult to meet?
Keeping pace with the changing E-space – How do we shape and retain an engaged workforce?
