On Friday the 5th of July, 68 players arrived at the QMS Fairway To Devon, charity golf event and were able to enjoy a series of competitions around the golf course, to win an amazing prize table, with a value in excess of £2,000. The event, held at Dainton Park Golf Club, welcomed 17 teams to compete for the prize. The day included food, golf, a trick show and an award ceremony.

As well as post-game entertainment provided by Paul “The Striker” Barrington.
The winning team clocking up an impressive 137 points and the winning individual clocking up 53 points.
The players, sponsors and organisers expressed what a successful day it was. Liam Mead, Commercial Manager at QMS said: “The team at QMS are incredibly passionate about supporting local charities and this golf day was a great way to raise money and awareness about the Lighthouse Club charity.
“All the teams had a great time on the course and were up for a laugh and to donate to the cause, which was great to see. Thank you to all who took part or sponsored the event.”
Richard Stand, from Carysil, a kitchen surface and appliance company,l said: “I had a brilliant day, really appreciated the opportunity to play in the charity day” while Sam Buckley from Derbyshire Specialist Aggregates, the bronze sponsor of the day, stated: “A great day, we were really happy to support”.
