Shanisha Kurani is ecstatic to be celebrating the fact that she has been a successful restaurant franchise owner for the last 30 years. Shanisha Kurani lives in Duluth, Georgia. There, she works incredibly hard to ensure that all of her work continues to produce successful results. Shanisha Kurani also enjoys spending time with her friends, family, and other loved ones. In fact, her friends and family have recently helped Shanisha Kurani celebrate her 30 years in the franchisee industry.

Shanisha Kurani says, “I was pleasantly surprised with a party celebrating my 3 decades as a franchise owner. I love my friends and family a great deal, so it was a wonderful way to celebrate what I have been able to accomplish in the industry.”

Shanisha Kurani continues to say, “It has been a long and, at times, difficult road. However, I am so happy with my chosen career path, as it has allowed me to meet so many wonderful people. It has also allowed me to push and challenge myself in ways that I never would have imagined.”

Thirty years ago, Shanisha Kurani opened the doors to her very first franchising venture. It was a Pizza Hut restaurant, and the life of Shanisha Kurani would be forever changed that day. Shanisha Kurani spent some time studying about restaurants and franchised operations. She knew that she wanted to own a restaurant, but she was not happy with the idea of all of the risk involved.

After spending some time doing research on franchises, she discovered that there are many benefits to starting a restaurant in a pre-existing chain. Shanisha Kurani says, “I learned that while there are still risks involved with opening a franchise, there are many benefits as well that do not come with opening a private restaurant. The most striking benefit is the fact that consumers already recognize and have a demand for the franchised brand.”

Shanisha Kurani made the choice to become a franchisee. Today, she still owns the Pizza Hut restaurant. She also owns a Dunkin Donuts and a Long John Silvers in Duluth. In 2005, Shanisha Kurani was named the top Pizza Hut franchisee.
