Deborah Burzotta is proud to announce her seventeenth year of work with Kaiser Permanente. She started with Kaiser Permanente in 1996 and has worked her way up through the company ranks during her professional career. Deborah Burzotta currently serves as the Area Operations Manager, which is a role that she has held since 2008.

Kaiser Permanente is a renowned health care company that was founded in 1945 by physician Sidney Garfield and his partner, industrialist Henry J. Kaiser. Its headquarters are based in Oakland, California, and it has a number of regional offices. Although Kaiser Permanente’s services are most concentrated in Northern California, it is also present in Colorado, Georgia, Hawaii, Washington D.C., Maryland, Virginia, Oregon, and Washington. When Deborah Burzotta was considering making a career change, she immediately thought of Kaiser Permanente. Prior to Kaiser Permanente, she worked as a pediatric pharmacist at Hughes Spalding Children’s Hospital in Atlanta, Georgia. She explains, “I enjoyed working at Hughes Spalding, but it wasn’t the right fit for me. Kaiser Permanente had always been in the back of my mind.” Luckily for Deborah Burzotta, Kaiser Permanente was equally as impressed with her potential, and offered her a job.

During her career at Kaiser Permanente, Deborah Burzotta has held several different positions. She has served in three different Pharmacy Manager roles, and is the current Area Operations Manager for the Atlanta office. Deborah Burzotta loves the range of opportunities available through Kaiser Permanente, and explains, “I have had incredible professional growth through Kaiser Permanente, as I’ve been able to explore several different areas of work. There are many opportunities available to employees.”

Deborah Burzotta does not plan to leave Kaiser Permanente any time soon. She says, “Kaiser Permanente is by far the best place I’ve ever worked, so I’m excited to see where my career goes.” With her commitment to her work at Kaiser Permanente, Deborah Burzotta is sure to enjoy future success and professional growth with the company.
