Rick Alan Counts has been a very successful businessman and attorney with a number of prosperous companies in the energy and real estate sectors. He graduated from the University Of Tulsa School Of Law and its National Energy Law and Policy Institute in 1983 and continued his education at the University of Dundee’s Center for Petroleum and Mineral Law and Policy. Upon graduation, Rick Alan Counts began his career with ARCO Oil & Gas in Tulsa, Oklahoma as a senior attorney and business development specialist.

In the years since working for ARCO Oil & Gas, Rick Alan Counts has spent more than three decades working with gas, oil, and energy. Thanks to his beginnings, Rick Alan Counts has been afforded many great business opportunities within his fields. His clients have included Amoco, ARCO, British Petroleum, LASMO, Equitable Resources, Inc., Island Creek Coal Company, Occidental Petroleum, Marathon, Meridian Oil, Inc., Texaco, Dowell Schlumberger, Marathon, Coastal Oil & Gas Corp., CONOCO and numerous other oil and gas exploration companies.

Through his experience, Rick Alan Counts has become extremely knowledgeable in the field of Energy Law. His long career specializing in Energy Law has allowed Rick Alan Counts many businesses, as well as other, opportunities. Rick Alan Counts has been asked to write and make presentations on regulatory matters involving oil and gas issues before the United States Congress, and even consults with foreign governments on a wide range of energy issues. Rick Alan Counts has been involved in more than 500 regulatory matters that have come before state and federal regulatory authorities, and was recently asked to make another presentation before the United States Congress. “I enjoy staying involved in our nation’s energy policy.”

Rick Alan Counts currently manages a number of organizations in the energy, gas, and oil fields. These include Wind River Petroleum LP, Gap Exploration Ltd., Western Slope Oil Services, Ranger 40 Petroleum, LLC, and Greystone Group, GmbH. His duties vary from Managing Partner to Managing Member to President. His positions may vary, but Rick Alan Counts is highly invested in each endeavor.
