Delta Airlines hired Andreas Riis Olsen in February to fulfill the position of Executive Account Specialist of Special Operations. This position has many unique responsibilities and Delta Airlines felt that Andreas Riis Olsen was capable of meeting all of them.

Some of the duties that Andreas Riis Olsen will be expected to complete include planning the routes, itineraries and accommodation details for Delta flights. Andreas Riis Olsen will also be responsible for computing airline fares and fees, which is a very important task. Furthermore, he will be expected to monitor the arrival, loading and departure of VIP passengers flying on both commercial and private jets. Troubleshooting and solving time sensitive situations involving highly classified information will also be part of Andreas Riis Olsen’s new job with Delta Airlines.

Delta Airlines hired Andreas Riis Olsen based on his education. He graduated from the Utah Valley State College with a degree in Aviation Management in 2006 and continued on to obtain a degree in Communication from the University of Utah in 2009. Andreas Riis Olsen showed a dedication to education and seeing multiple commitments through which speaks volumes about his personal ethics.

Andreas Riis Olsen was also hired based on his credentials and experience in the field. Having both private and commercial pilot licenses made Andreas Riis Olsen a strong contender for the Executive Account Specialist position. Having the combination of the required education and experience are what solidified the hiring of Andreas Riis Olsen.

Andreas Riis Olsen was born in Denmark, but has lived in the United States for a number of years. In his spare time he uses his knowledge of the Danish language to assist others. Andreas Riis Olsen has worked as both a translator and an interpreter and hopes that he will be able to use his knowledge of language in his new position with Delta.
