Viking Range, based in Greenwood, MS, is pleased to announce the selection of three Viking employees for Greenwood’s “Top 30 Under 40” list. Viking Range employees Beth Kittle, Matt Gnemi, and Becky Thompson were all honored with placement on the list.

“We heartily congratulate Beth, Matt, and Becky,” a spokesperson from Viking Range said. “We thank all three of them for their dedicated service to our company and community. These three represent the high caliber of our employees, and we couldn’t be more proud of their accomplishments.”

Beth Kittle is the Corporate Compensation and Benefits Manager for Viking Range, and has been a part of Viking Range’s Human Resources staff since 2001. Viking Range, which seeks top-tier candidates for every position, hired Kittle after she graduated with a BBA in marketing from Mississippi State University. Viking Range was also impressed by Kittle’s membership in a long list of organizations, including the Society for Human Resources Management, Mississippi Manufacturers Association, and the Delta Human Resource Management Association.

Matt Gnemi, who was also honored with placement on the “Top 30 Under 40” list, is the former Plant Controller at Viking Range Corporation. Gnemi, a graduate of Mississippi State University, received an MBA in accounting there. The third honoree, Becky Thompson, is General Manager of Greenwood’s Viking Cooking School. The Viking Cooking School also has locations in Atlanta, GA; Houston, TX; Salt Lake City, UT; and three locations in the state of New Jersey. At the Viking Cooking School in Greenwood, Becky Thompson’s team offers both public classes and private events. Upcoming classes at Viking Range’s cooking school include a “Summer Cocktail Party,” a class called “Date Night: Italian Dinner,” and an entire weekend of Southern specialties inspired by the hit film, “The Help.”

All three employees, who come from a wide range of positions and have widely varying skill sets, manage to personify the best qualities in all employees at Viking Range. Despite the differences in their positions, each of these Viking Range employees is resourceful, highly skilled, creative, and dedicated. “We have so many excellent employees,” commented a spokesperson from Viking Range. “We anticipate that next year’s ‘30 Under 40’ list will feature Viking Range employees again.”
