A professional business consultant to health, well-being, sales and marketing and sports management firms from 1993 to 2005, Peter Lord of Canbet performed admirably and with distinction within various roles for many respected organizations throughout the business community. As a business consultant for over 12 years, Lord enjoyed the opportunity to hone his skills in such fields as corporate governance, business development, sales and negotiations during this time, which afforded him the chance to take on the responsibilities of higher company positions in the years to follow.

Peter Lord Canbet then joined up with Crescent Capital Partners, a leading Australian Private Equity firm, in 2005. Lord, along with two of the founding Crescent directors, helped to grow the business through high-quality investment opportunities, building what was a $100 million company fund into what is now a Fund valued at more than $400 million.
After over four years of success with Crescent Capital, Peter Lord of Canbet joined a leading Australian Veterinary Pharmaceutical manufacturer in the equine industry, serving as company Chairman from 2009 to 2010. As Chairman, Lord helped to improve company productivity, to corporatize the business and to implement what become a success exit strategy that would occur within three years. He was able to achieve these goals within just nine months. Nature Vet was then sold to Ceva Animal Health.

Peter Lord of Canbet has since worked as a Consulting Director for a company involved in the racing and equestrian industries, as a Consultant for Circurre Technologies, a start-up firm, and, most recently as the General Manager of Imperial Investments, a leading Australian investment company. As the General Manager of Imperial Investments, Lord provides skilled guidance and oversight of the organization’s day-to-day operations.
