Organized and Efficient: Maya Bloom of Hopkinton NH

Maya Bloom of Hopkinton NH was organized and efficient at a young age and this carried through her adolescence to her young adult years.

During elementary, middle, and high school, any teacher who had Maya Bloom of Hopkinton NH in his or her class made practically identical comments on her report card. There was always a sentence or two that summed up how organized and efficient she was at any task and at all times. Some of her teachers would comment on how they never had to ask her twice for anything and how sometimes they checked with her on something they may have forgotten. In fact, Maya Bloom of Hopkinton NH was actually asked by one of her high school teachers to teach younger students how to organize their paperwork and class notebooks.

“Even as a five-year-old, Maya Bloom of Hopkinton NH had organized all her books alphabetically and after we read one, she put it back in the correct spot so we would know which to read next. I guess I thought she was a bit anal retentive for such a young child, but I also thought it was just her personality,” said her mother. Maya Bloom of Hopkinton NH would go on to be organized and efficient in every single aspect of her life.

“I had a packed schedule, even as a kid. Between Girl Scouts, my extracurricular activities, and volunteer obligations, I needed to make sure I had enough time to complete my homework assignments, do my household chores, and occasionally hang out with friends,” says Maya Bloom of Hopkinton NH. There was not a lot of time for socializing but her parents encouraged her to make plans when she had a window of opportunity. Sometimes it was hard for them to watch their young girl have so much on her plate, but she would have it no other way.

One tactic Maya Bloom of Hopkinton NH used as she began scheduling in so many activities was putting up a large white board in her room with one week’s worth of activities. The whole month was too daunting, but she found that if she viewed it at seven-day intervals, she was better off. This schedule helped Maya Bloom of Hopkinton NH organize her time each day, which, in turn, made her incredibly efficient at all her tasks and obligations. Her parents even incorporated one in the kitchen, which showed the whole family’s schedule for the week.
