Olof Marcus Kangro has worked hard in his life to become a functional consultant with AlfaPeople. AlfaPeople is a global retail partner to Microsoft, using Microsoft Dynamics AX. They have been awarded Retail Partner of the Year in the United States and are members of the Microsoft Inner Circle and the President’s Club. Olof Marcus Kangro will be celebrating four years with the company in March of 2016. He has built his career with the company over the years, working on half a dozen projects as a functional consultant, business consultant, and project manager. Kangro has found success at AlfaPeople, even though he has only lived in the United States for several years.

Olof Marcus Kangro was born and raised in Sweden. He attended the University of Lund after completing his year of required military service, graduating in 2005 with a master’s degree in strategic management. From there, he worked for Swedbank as a financial advisor for over five years.

But everything changed when he met his future wife in New York in 2008. He moved to the United States, where they married in June 2010. He then got a job working at Bloomberg as a research analyst focusing on Scandinavian companies because he is multilingual. Kangro is fluent in Swedish, Danish, and Norwegian and can speak conversational German. While working at Bloomberg, he was recruited to AXA Advisors, where he worked as a financial advisor.

But he found a home at AlfaPeople, where he started in March of 2012 as a functional consultant and still works today. He was able to build his experience even more with AlfaPeople where he has worked in requirement gathering and analysis and business process management with a strong knowledge of System Development Life Cycle. He has used both Microsoft Dynamics Ax 2009 and 2012 and has performed gap analysis, functional requirement documents, and prepared business requirement documents.

Olof Marcus Kangro loves working for AlfaPeople and hopes to grow with the company. He hopes to one day get into product management and has even worked in this role during phase two of one of his projects.
