Louis Desmarteaux earned a Masters of Business Administration from Northeastern University in Boston. But as skilled as he is in business, he is just as good, if not better, at tennis, where his true passion lies.

Louis Desmarteaux is a highly-rated tennis player whose skills have taken him to tournaments as far away as Africa. Louis Desmarteaux was an under-16 champion in Canada who went on to be a star at St. John’s University, where he won several major college tournaments. In late 2009, Louis Desmarteaux qualified for the Australian Open Amateur Tennis Championship, which was part of the Australian Open Grand Slam pro tourney held in Melbourne. He was one of just sixteen amateurs in the tournament. “It’s always nice to represent your country and know you’re the only guy going,” he said at the time. “From a playing standpoint, I’m more mature than ever. I’m just hoping to learn from my experience over there.”

Louis Desmarteaux began his own tennis company shortly after he completed his college education. After graduating from St. John’s University, Louis Desmarteaux moved to Boston, Massachusetts, where he began attending Northeastern University. Louis Desmarteaux worked even harder there in order to earn his Masters of Business Administration.
Louis Desmarteaux learned a great deal about business while in school. After graduating, he decided he wanted to try to merge his business and tennis skills. “Since I was a little boy, I have always enjoyed playing tennis,” he said. “I have been playing it my entire life, and today, I am an accomplished player. I am certified by the United States Tennis Association, and I have had the honor of competing in a variety of tennis tournaments around the world.”

Louis Desmarteaux continued: “I am grateful to have the chance to use my education to fuel my passion for tennis. My tennis company was established in order to help support and promote tennis in Boston, and hopefully around the rest of the United States as well. I just want to thank all of my clients and customers for supporting me since I opened the doors in 2007. I wouldn’t have been able to keep the doors open without them.”

In addition to running his tennis company, Louis Desmarteaux also works as an intern at one of the top marketing companies in Boston known as Sapient Nitro.
