Kristy Kozaka has always given one hundred percent of herself to whatever task she undertakes. Her dedication to personal excellence has served her well all through her life, from school to her career in public relations.
Kristy Kozaka is a public relations specialist who has experience in the high technology, financial, healthcare, and consumer markets. Her strong work ethic resulted in her graduating Cum Laude from Providence College, where she earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Spanish and Humanities. Providence College is a private, coeducational, Roman Catholic university in Rhode Island.

Kristy Kozaka spent three years at Ziff-Davis, Inc., an all-digital media company specializing in the technology market. At Ziff-Davis, Kristy Kozaka worked in advertising sales for PC Week (now eWeek), a technology and business magazine, and Internet Computing, a bi-monthly magazine covering Internet technologies.

She began her public relations career at Miller/Shandwick Technologies, where she received the agency’s ‘One in Twenty’ award. Miller/Shandwick Technologies is now Weber Shandwick Worldwide. During her tenure at Miller/Shandwick, Kristy Kozaka served as the on-site public relations manager at IDC, and worked with clients such as Agfa, Systems Software Associates (SSA), carOrder.com, and Dow Jones.com/Wall Street Journal Interactive.

Later on, Kristy Kozaka worked for Topaz Partners and The Portico Group. At Portico she managed communications programs for established and emerging companies, including Acurian, deNovis and CenterWatch, healthcare services companies; Advanced Technology Ventures (ATV), a bi-coastal venture capital firm; Trellix, a Web publisher; and Endius, a medical device company. Kristy Kozaka was also involved with positioning and repositioning clients. She worked on the website redesign for ATV and a national, consumer book launch for CenterWatch’s Informed Consent™: A Guide to the Risks and Benefits of Volunteering for Clinical Trials.

Kristy Kozaka demonstrated her commitment to excellence all through her years in school. She is a 1990 graduate of Oliver Ames High School in Easton, Massachusetts, where she served as Class Treasurer and was an active member of the Student Advisory Council. From high school, Kristy Kozaka attended Providence College, where she graduated Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish and Humanities. For part of that time she studied at the University of Granada in Spain. Kristy Kozaka has also performed community service as a volunteer driver with Meals on Wheels.
