Although Joshua Lundberg is still a student, he has already begun to make an impact on the world. Joshua Lundberg’s community recently honored his leadership skills as a young man by selecting him to participate in a youth leadership program. This program was focused on providing young leaders with the necessary skills to prepare them to effectively lead in whatever field they enter after they graduate.

Through this leadership program, Joshua Lundberg gained a new sense of confidence in his skills as a leader. By attending discussions and engaging with fellow young leaders, Joshua Lundberg was able to gain a clearer idea of how he wishes to use his talents as a leader. “Although I am interested in a wide variety of fields, this program helped me to develop skills that will be effective wherever I go after school,” comments Joshua Lundberg.

Joshua Lundberg was able to practice his leadership skills in a practical situation when he was invited to participate in a recent United Nations conference as a youth representative. During this time, Joshua Lundberg had the opportunity to interact with a number of highly influential diplomats. Joshua Lundberg is passionate about finding an effective solution for the growing problem of worldwide youth violence, so he took this opportunity to discuss this cause with these diplomats.

As he participated in this conference, Joshua Lundberg discovered that the leadership skills he had learned at the training program allowed him to communicate more effectively with the diplomats. “I believe my time at the U.N. conference was more effective because I was able to draw on my leadership training in order to improve my discussions with the diplomats,” comments Joshua Lundberg.

Since attending these two events, Joshua Lundberg has devoted his time to his studies as well as his work in the office of a manufacturing company, where he contributes to the management of the company’s financial data. However, Joshua Lundberg has still found time to participate in community activities. For example, Joshua Lundberg regularly volunteers with the Adopt a Highway program. Joshua Lundberg also spends time with his family frequently, as he is involved in their German shepherd breeding program.
