George Washington University Student Jordan Mondshine Getting Ready for the World

Jordan Mondshine is a popular student at George Washington University who is focused on economics as his major. Mondshine has put a lot of work into his studies, covering a variety of topics across the spectrum of economics, finance and business. He has taken courses in Financial Accounting, Calculus, Financial Management and Markets, Business and Economic Statistics, International Economic Theory and Financial Economics. To his credit he has maintained an extremely high grade point average (GPA) throughout his studies of these difficult topics. When you look at all that he has ahead of him, along with all he has already achieved, there is little doubt of his ability to make an impact on the world after his planned graduation in the month of May in the year 2016. On that date, he will achieve a Bachelor of Arts in Economics with a Minor in Business Administration.

Jordan Mondshine is a notable student for a number of reasons; he has not only attained success in the classroom, but he also has a record of achievements outside of the classroom. He is a former high school Varsity basketball player for Pine Crest High School in Ft. Lauderdale, FL. As a player for this team, he was part of the impressive competitive achievements that took the team to the Florida high school state tournament final four in 2011. This tournament was played at the Lakeland Center in Lakeland Florida. It was the first year the team had gone to the Final Four since Brandon Knight, currently an NBA player, graduated and it was the fifth consecutive year that Pine Crest High School made it to the final four. The team overcame a number of competitive teams on the path to their ultimate game, winning close games over Glades Central, Saint Andrew’s School, and Monsignor Edward Pace. The team ultimately lost to Richards High School, a talented team from Jacksonville.

Another extra-curricular activity for Jordan Mondshine is his work as the Director of External Affairs for the GWU Entrepreneurship Club. In this role, Mondshine was instrumental in helping the club achieve its goals of sponsoring entrepreneurship. He worked with business members in the community, gaining their participation and attendance at various club events and sharing the goals of the organization throughout.
