Erin Cho at Parsons is published in the International Journal of Design

 
Erin Cho at Parsons, The New School for Design, is a distinguished and renowned consumer behavior researcher. Erin Cho graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 1998 and received her PhD in Supply Chain Management for Global Solutions and Consumer Behavior. Currently, Erin Cho is serving as a professor in Strategic Design Management at the School of Design Strategies at Parsons, The New School for Design located in New York City. Prior to her position at Parsons, Erin Cho at Parsons taught at Washington State University, the University of Wisconsin-Madison, and Columbia University.

Erin Cho at Parsons has been an avid researcher. Most recently, she published in the International Journal of Design for her manuscript, The Effect of Website Designs, Self-Congruity, and Flow on Behavioral Intention.

The International Journal of Design is a peer-reviewed, open-access journal that publishes research papers related to all areas of design including industrial design, visual communication design, interface design, animation and game design, architectural design, urban design, and other design related fields. The journal is indexed with SSCI, SCI-E, A&HCI, and Scopus, and encourages research on the impact of cultural factors of design practices and theories. Additionally, it seeks to promote the transfer of knowledge between professionals in academia and the industry by promoting innovative discovery.

Erin Cho has also been featured in several other academic journals including: Journal of Retailing, Journal of Business Research, The Korean Economic Review, Urban Studies, International Journal of Consumer Studies, International Journal of Retail & Distribution Management, Journal of Consumer Affair, and Information and Management.

Erin Cho at Parsons has distinguished herself in the field of design management and design-led strategy. In the future she hopes to receive additional publications of her manuscripts. She continues to conduct research in areas including strategic design management, branding, innovation, fashion, and sustainability.
