Kim Errigo has always dreamed that she would be successful in what she did. However, she did not disillusion herself by thinking that the road to success would be easy. At the University of Virginia, Kim Errigo experienced the trials that aiming for greatness brings firsthand. While attending the University of Virginia, Kim Errigo had the opportunity to be a cheerleader. During her time on the cheerleading squad, Kim Errigo was exposed to the difficult task of balancing a full academic schedule with the demands and rigors of competitive cheerleading. Although there were many days that were strenuous, Kim Errigo never gave quitting more than a passing glance. Kim Errigo was determined to be successful in her pursuit of greatness as a cheerleader.

Since graduating, Kim Errigo has taken that same relentless drive and applied it to her new passion: running. Kim Errigo works tirelessly to build her endurance up to its maximum level so that she can compete in long distance races around her area. As a runner, Kim Errigo gets to bring the same competitive spirit that helped her succeed in college to bear on a new challenge. By training hard and paying attention to the details of her program, Kim Errigo has been able to build up a reputation as a fierce competitor on race day. Because of her efforts and the passion of her training, Kim Errigo has turned herself into a fine tuned running machine.

When asked about the difficulty of her training, Kim Errigo was honest: “I work extremely hard to be great in my chosen field. When I'm running, all of my focus is on the task at hand. I know how tired I am and I want to keep pushing so that next time it will take longer to exhaust myself.” Kim Errigo knows that success does not come overnight, so she looks for little improvements each time she runs.

Recently, Kim Errigo was announced as a record holder in multiple distance events due to her top times in recent races. Kim Errigo's records are a benchmark of success in her growing running career.
