Prior to signing on with Close Up TV News, Doug Llewelyn has worked in daytime TV, working as a producer and director for the infamous “Judge Judy” courtroom series. Doug's experience behind the camera pays off for him in front of the camera, as he explains: “I know the way the camera sees things. I understand how the sound is going to travel and how people should plan to create a followable storyline within the interview.” Although Doug's primary role is in front of the camera, as a host and personality, his technical expertise puts Close Up TV News in a good position to succeed and to bring home awards.

Doug saw a need within the advertising and marketing industry for a company that would produce positive press for clients in an area besides typical commercials. Consequently, Doug spent years traveling and filming documentaries on major international corporations. Out of that time of travel, Close Up TV News became a possibility, as Doug's unique advertising style began to gain popularity and clients began to appreciate the value of video-based advertising.
