Maintaining your faith can be a difficult mission in any environment, especially in high school. Although Catharine Hardyman is a busy high school student who is still surrounded by the typical teenage drama, she has been able to defy the odds and preserve her Christian faith. Catharine Hardyman is known around her community as a positive role model who has strong conservative values. Each day, Catharine Hardyman works to live a life that holds true to her morals.

Catharine Hardyman knows that maintaining your values as a teenager can be difficult, but she hopes to be a leading example for other high school students. Catharine Hardyman recently discussed some of the struggles she goes through each day while in school, she stated, “Living as an individual who puts my morals in the forefront of my life definitely makes me a minority among other people my age. Although I am faced by the hardships that come along with high school, I try to stay focused on what is important. Being a positive role model is important to me; I want to be someone who younger students can look up to.”

Catharine Hardyman has filled various leadership roles throughout her community. In 2010, Catharine Hardyman was appointed as the captain of her swim team. Additionally, Catharine Hardyman is a member of the Community Action Board and Youth Grant Allocation Board. In the future, Catharine Hardyman hopes to become a United States Certified Swim Coach so she can continue to serve as a positive role model in the lives of others.

It is Catharine Hardyman’s primary mission to positively influence other students at her school, and she recently became a Daphne High School Senior Mentor. “My faith is extremely important to me, and I want others to see that. I have been a member of the Methodist Youth Fellowship for many years and have participated in two mission trips with the organization. I believe serving is an important part of demonstrating my faith. I always look for new ways to step up as a leader, but I think it is also important to stay humble through it all,” Catharine Hardyman stated.
