Florida - Joshua Kerrigan, the founder and owner of Florida-based Yacht Management, is pleased to announce that his company has added a new “Service and Repair” department. Currently, the new department is comprised of a full-time Staff Mechanic, who services the boats in the Yacht Management fleet. The addition of this full-time Staff Mechanic makes Yacht Management a more competitive and valuable company in the Florida yacht marina and management industry.

“We’re very excited to have our new mechanic on board,” said Joshua Kerrigan. “He’s definitely going to be a tremendous asset to our company. In fact, he already has been! We believe that with a new Service and Repair department, Yacht Management is going to become even more competitive than ever before. Vessel-owners today want to see that their storage and maintenance solutions can take care of them with in-house people. Generally, the fewer hands touching a boat, the better. When you start bringing in contracted crews, you just don’t know what you might get.”

Joshua Kerrigan founded Yacht Management after having grown up in the yacht management and cleaning business. “I got my start with yachts as a teenager, and fell in love with the industry,” said Joshua Kerrigan. “I love boats, and I know boats. Of course, owning and operating a management company takes a lot more than that technical knowledge and passion. Fortunately, I’ve had some great people on my side who have shown me the ropes and provided me guidance and counsel when I had to make tough business decisions.”

Though Joshua Kerrigan claims he has had to make tough decisions with Yacht Management, hiring a full-time Staff Mechanic was “definitely not one of those decisions,” he said. “In fact, I feel like this might be one of the best decisions I’ve ever made with Yacht Management! Having a new Staff Mechanic and Service and Repair Department should open us up to many growth opportunities that previously were not available.”
