Singapore Land Transport Authority (LTA) announce the Eastern Region MRT Line that span from Garden by the Bay all the way to Sungei Bedok. This MRT line will extend parrallel along East Coast Coastline. The stations consists of Siglap, Bayshore, Marine Parade, Tanjong Rhu, Sungei Bedok, Amber, and Marine Terrace which will flow underground starting from Garden by the Bay.

East Coast Residents all the while are not assisted with any MRT services, can at last have this relief of convenience that connect the residents to the heart of the CBD easily. Travelling time is reduced to certain extend for residents heading to CBDCentral Business District (CBD). The eastern region line is portion of the Thomson East Region Line (TEL) that stretches all the way to woodland.

The Thomson East Coast Line is the six MRT line set up by sMRT that drives to link up the northern region and eastern neighborhood to the heart of CBD.

Bicycle Car Park lots will be establish in few MRT Stations being the first few namely; Bayshore, Sungei Bedok, Marine Terrace and Marine Parade, in line with the culture of East Coast, being the East Coast Park where residents can head over to the beach for pedaling.

In line with the completion in 2024, there is also a "World's First 4-1 Bus Depot and Train" emerging which is calculated to have the size of 60 football field. It is expected to hold a maximum capacity of 220 trains and 550 buses. There will be several levels that house the buses and trains.
