Sometimes things turn out better when you are willing to collaborate. The Austrian martial arts brand Phantom Athletics with their CEO Dominique Wenger and Anatoli “Siberian Tiger” Baal followed this wisdom when they joined forces earlier this year to open one of the most high end martial arts gyms in Germany, the Fightclub Siberian Tiger in Sindelfingen. Baal, who has roots in Siberia is one of the most successful german MMA fighters and for him opening this gym is a dream coming true. For more than one and a half years now he is under contract with Phantom Athletics, one of the biggest online brands for high quality martial arts equipment in the DACH region that has a big international customer base as well.
“To support Anatoli in building up a gym that satisfies all the needs of true athletes was a great personal pleasure for me”, tells Dominique Wenger, who is also the founder of Phantom Athletics. “Remembering my own active time as martial arts fighter it was a real pain sometimes with the equipment offered in the gyms back then. We had to get very innovative and come up with our own hacks to being able to train effectively. This was one of the main drivers for me to found Phantom Athletics, so we could offer athletes high end training equipment so they can give their all and always be on top of their sports.” Supporting Baal in opening the gym matches perfectly to this goal of Dominique Wenger. Since February athletes are now able to train with high quality equipment by Phantom Athletics in Baal´s new gym, located in Ziegelstraße 17, Sindelfingen. All members of the gym have it clear for them: they are excited about it and love the opportunities it offers for them to get even better. So we will see which future talents might rise out of this unique collaboration.
