The results for the Indian Army B.Sc Nursing Entrance Exam which were held on Feb 2018 were released on the official site on 9th March 2018. Aglasem has updated the results on its page, for easy reference to candidates.

College Locations and Seat Availability

This entrance exam was held to find eligible candidates for admission to the B.Sc Nursing Courses at Colleges of Nursing, run by the Armed Forces Medical Services. Currently, there are colleges and nursing schools located in Pune, Kolkata, INHS Asvini, New Delhi, Lucknow, and Bengaluru. The courses are open only to female candidates and the duration is four years.

Scheduled Interview Dates

The exam results were uploaded on the official site of the Indian Army in pdf format. Candidates can find out the total marks secured by them in the examination along with their merit number. The call for interview letter has been dispatched to medically-fit candidates with the merit number up to 378.
When it comes to medical fitness, candidates are expected to clear the applicable physical standards set by the Armed Forces Commission.
Additionally, candidates will be subjected to an X-Ray of the Chest and USG (of the pelvis and abdomen). The minimum height is set at 148 cm or more for all candidates. This limit is relaxed by 5cm for candidates from the north-eastern states.

Accepted candidates will have to attend a personal interview that is scheduled to be conducted during May 2018. The final selection will be based on the candidate’s performance in the written examination as well as the interview, along with the physical fitness requirements.

Once selected, candidates can choose their college depending on the availability of seats. Students will be provided with training during the course period of four years. Accommodation, free ration, uniform allowance and a monthly stipend will be provided to candidates during the duration of the course.
