Rajasthan BSTC 2018 - Check Date, Eligibility & Exam Pattern on Aglasem

Aglasem, one of the most trusted portals for information on entrance examinations, college/university admissions and much more, has released latest news about the upcoming Rajasthan BSTC 2018 for eligible candidates.

 
Rajasthan BSTC 2018 is an entrance examination that is conducted by the Govind Guru Tribal University, Banswara. Aspiring candidates, who wish to enroll in the array of teaching courses, offered by the various colleges and universities in Rajasthan, have to take this examination.

Important Dates

The online application form for the examination is currently open. It was started on 12th February 2018, and the last date for registration is 31st March 2018. Candidates are required to fill in the online application form if they wish to take part in the examination. As of now, the test is scheduled to be conducted on 6th May 2018, and the results are expected to be released in the first week of June of this year.

Online Registration & Admit Card Details

Registration for the examination is only possible online. Other offline modes like application form courier are not allowed. Students can pay for the application form online using debit/credit cards, IMPS, or internet banking.

Candidates have to complete the online registration form successfully, to download the admit card. Exam takers will be permitted to write the exam only with the admit card, that must be produced at the venue.

Question Paper Pattern & Syllabus

The exam is a pen-and-paper test and the syllabus for this year’s paper is as follows: General Awareness – 150 marks, English – 60 marks, Sanskrit and Hindi – 90 marks, Mental Ability – 150 marks, and Teaching Ability – 150 marks.

The test is conducted for three hours and contains a total of 200 Multiple-choice Questions (MCQ) with total marks up to 600.

Candidate Eligibility

Only eligible candidates will be allowed to take the examination. To be eligible, candidates must be a citizen of India, who resides in the state of Rajasthan; must have successfully completed 10+2 class or equivalent from any recognised board in India; for general category the candidates must have secured at least 50% of marks in +2; for SC/ST candidates this cut-off is 45%; Age of the candidates must not be more than 28.

Students who are currently appearing for the twelfth board examinations are also eligible to apply. However, they have to furnish the mark sheet during counselling.
