The future of remote work is no longer a question of “if”, said Remote Worker CEO Joseph Boll. Rather, it has already become the new normal.

Despite some organizations and business leaders alleging that a “return to normal” is “imminent” in the workplace particularly, all evidence seems to point to the contrary. With the onset of the Great Resignation, many workers kept their word about preferring to quit rather than return to traditional in-person offices full-time.

Further, many workers are now demanding remote work, keeping it in high demand among the most talented of the workforce. In many instances, it has become the deciding factor for both new employees joining the labour market and existing staff members considering whether or not to leave their current jobs.

Remote Worker has also noticed this increased demand for remote jobs. Our job board is designed to help hiring managers and businesses connect with jobseeking professionals for remote work positions.

To this end, Remote Worker CEO Joseph Boll has continued urging businesses to embrace remote work if they plan to remain successful in the foreseeable future.

“It’s no longer a question of ‘if’ remote work is here to stay,” said Boll.

“Remote work has, in fact, become the new normal. If not in practice just yet, then surely in the minds of the younger workers and incoming youth who are the labour force of tomorrow.

“At this point, employers simply have two options: learn to evolve or fall behind.”

Job board giant Indeed has noted that the younger generation of workers are expecting remote work to continue.

This signals to recruiters and HR professionals the direction their organizations need to go if they plan to stay ahead of the competition.
