On the heels of a new study suggesting more remote working days and fewer meetings, RemoteWorker is envisioning a better hybrid working model that could once again revolutionize the way the modern workforce thinks about working.

Boll referenced a study from research and consulting firm Gartner, which suggested that the hybrid working model could be improved if businesses let employees work remotely around 3-4 days a week on average — if not more, and by implementing “meeting-free days.”

“Think of a world where most employees could have the kind of work schedule that some entrepreneurs have, where they get to choose their own work hours and have the ability to work from home — or from wherever,” the RemoteWorker CEO suggested. “One drawback of entrepreneurship is that it can be risky, but imagine if a future way of working gave employees the stability of having a full-time employer while still getting the flexibility to have work-life balance to an even greater degree than exists now.”

Greater autonomy and flexibility would certainly improve work morale and productivity, and the impact on overall well-being could be unprecedented.
