The Italian jewelry fair "Mondo Prezioso" took place in the south of Italy from 6 to 9 October. It is the fair organized by Centro Orafo Il Tarì, based in Marcianise, the only jewelry district in Italy that gathers 400 companies as a consortium on a permanent basis. Located just outside Naples, the Center is a real gem of Italian jewelry business.
In addition to the permanent residents of Tarì, more than 85 exhibitors from the most important Italian jewelry districts entered the pavilion jewelry festival, exhibiting their special appreciation of high Italian jewelry.

From gems to precious and semi-precious stones, from components to accessories and semi-finished products, from production technologies to final products, one could see the entire pearl jewelry supply and production chain at "Mondo Prezioso." Moreover, the buyers represented over 1,000 points of sale-coming from Italy, Malta, the Greek Islands and the Baltic region.
The leitmotif at "Mondo Prezioso" is "craftsmanship," which means the modern bridge between past and present, tradition and innovation-starting from the school's jewellery production deck to the firm.

In addition to the fair itself, Mondo Prezioso hosted an exclusive exhibition entitled "Jewels – A Love Story," a real journey into the history of jewelry and jewelry craftsmanship made in Italy, a chronological path that starts from the XVIII century to high-end collections of contemporary jewelry. It was a unique opportunity to admire Jewels of the Bourbon style.



Centro Orafo Il Tarì is located near one of the most important architectural and historical treasures in Italy and around the world, the Reggia di Caserta, the ideal site of the Kingdom of Naples founded in 1750 by Carlo di Borbone. That masterpiece has become the exclusive venue for a special event dedicated to buyers and international media that will take place on Sunday 8 October, with guided tours of the Reggia 's historic apartments.

Centro Orafo Il Tarì is the only jewelry district in Italy that has permanently collected 400 companies as a consortium since 1996 (30% manufacturing, 30% operation, 40% retail) in a unique prestigious location by ensuring a package of specialized services – from protection to promotion representing a unique value in Europe, for all registered companies and visitors alike. The day-to-day operations of those registered companies are about jewelry production and trade and are devoted solely to the operators. The Tarì Center is hosting a major event three times a year involving both the permanent companies and the most important jewelry companies in Italy. The Tarì also hosts a valuable training school, Tarì School of Design.
