GCDLE decision to facilitate its members’ universities in syllabi development, applauded!

Global Commission for Distance Learning Education (GCDLE) has decided to facilitate its members for developing syllabi according to latest market needs!

 
Dated: 18th March, 2015 [California, USA]- Global Commission for Distance Learning Education in an unprecedented move have decided to facilitate its members, including universities and institutions towards better syllabi according to the modern market needs. For a very long period of time, it was felt, that there is a big gap among the syllabi of different universities, mostly online universities. To bridge this gap, the global commission for distance learning education, considering its responsibility being the top-most global body for distance learning has started to standardize the syllabi of different universities.

The commission has distributed this gigantic task into phases, according to commission spokesperson, Michael Parsons: “The commission will facilitate the interested universities towards syllabi development. For this purpose, distinguished industry leaders and subject experts, have been assigned the task, to revamp and modify the existing syllabi of different universities.”
The commission has divided the plan, into following 4 steps:
i) Data Collection
ii) Data Analysis
iii) Standard Improvisation
iv) Enhanced outcomes

The same model is being used for the regulatory framework of different universities and has proven to be a successful model. The commission using its resources spread over 6 continents has definitely taken up challenging task, considering the importance of inclusion of latest developments in the era of globalization. The commission has full support of its members, including universities and institutions and a strong backing of corporate sector, which will be the biggest beneficiary, in this regard.
