Human civilization has encountered many stages in its development like the Stone Age, the Copper Age etc. This age is the age of LCD and LED .

The Solar Street Lights are the latest invention of this LED Age. Science has invented these amazing lights by which solar energy can be used in a proper way. It is from this in-exhaustive source of power that streets are getting light even in the night when the Sun moves away from our sight. This solar LED street lighting reduces the dependency on traditional power a lot. The solar lights are raised light sources which are powered by photovoltaic panels and these panels charge a rechargeable battery which powers an LED or a fluorescent lamp during the night. They are highly-efficient, renewable, sustainable and power saving lights and can either have their own photovoltaic panel or number of panels can be installed as a central power to maintain the power supply.
These renewable Solar Street Lights have Solar Panels (converts solar energy into electricity), Lighting Fixture (LED provides much higher lumens with lower energy consumption), Rechargeable Battery (stores the electricity from the solar panels for the night), Controller (controls the switch on or off timings) and Pole (on which the whole product is mounted on).The Solar Street Lights either have their own photovoltaic panel each or have a chain of panels as a control panel. In case of lack of charge these lights can be in power for couple of days.
There many advantages of these eco-friendly lights. These lights are cheaper in operation, have low maintenance chance, less accident prone too. Along with that there is a fear of theft is there .The first cost is really very high, batteries need replacement frequently and natural calamity can cut the power supply. Modern LED lights have wireless technology and fuzzy theory for battery management operates as a network with each light. These LED lights are installed or proposed to be installed in different cities all over the world. Remote areas of the world would be benefited a lot with the Solar Street Lights’ immense use.
