Naxos Greece is the land of beaches. The largest of all Cycladic islands in Greece, Naxos travel is solely dedicated to the large number of long and sandy beaches that makes a perfect holiday idea.

 
Needless to say, Naxos is the biggest of all Cycladic islands. The west coast of this island has the most amazing golden and sandy beach. The turquoise clear water of the ocean is captivating. Naxos Greece is famous as the land of beaches. The capital's beach is Agios Giorgios. It is the most popular of all beaches in Naxos. As a matter of fact, Naxos travel begins with this beach and that offers a host of sporting facilities. It is an organized sandy beach that has sun beds and umbrellas scattered all over to make people feel comfortable. There are sport facilities and the famous windsurfing zone as well. There are a couple of sporting clubs and shops that offer equipments on rent. It is also the most overcrowded beach during the peak seasons, lined by several restaurants and cafes. There are several hotels, studios and rooms available for accommodation.

Agia Anna is located approximately 7 km from Naxos town. It is quite close to the Agios Prokopios beach. This is one beach that is characteristically sandy and interrupted. There is a small port for fishing, with rocky points scattered here and there. It is the most well organized beaches in entire Naxos Island. Close to the beach is the Agia Anna village hat offers choice of hotels, studios and rooms for accommodation. There are some bars, cafes, restaurants and night clubs too.

Agios Prokopios is another famous beach in Naxos Greece. Naxos travel must include this beach too. It is located 5 km from the capital of this island, Hora. It is well organized and worldly renowned as the most gorgeous of all beaches in the entire Europe. The beach stretches across 1.5 km, covered with golden sand dunes, well protected from wind. The crystal clear waters of the beach can captivate thoughts. Only a part of this beach has been organized with umbrellas, sun beds and some water sports. Behind the dunes of this beach there is a small village that has several restaurants, hotels, bars and cafes.

Plaka is a widespread Naxos Greece beach. It is basically the continuity of Agia Anna beach. It is silent, tranquil and beautiful. Endless sand dunes can be seen and turquoise clear waters make the ambiance perfect and delightful. This beach also has a few restaurants and hotels to suffice the gastronomic requirement of people.

Orkos is a continuity beach of Plaka. The area has several quite and beautiful sandy beaches. The landscape is mesmerizing. There are red colored impressive hills that can be seen from the beaches. Orkos also has excellent accommodation facilities for people. This is one of the most famous beaches for windsurfing. However, clubs are not present on the beach.
