Eighty-six percent of net new were businesses founded by Latinos, this has resulted in 4.3 million new businesses being generated in the last decade creating close to three million American jobs, helping to reduce unemployment rates.

The past fifteen years has seen an income rise of almost thirty percent from US Latinos with a seventy percent greater purchasing power. This year, the Latino purchasing power is expected to be more than $1.7 trillion. 2007 to 2012 saw an increase of forty-seven percent in Latino owned businesses, while the non-Latino owned businesses dropped by two percent.Latinos are expected to make up seventy-four percent of the growth in new workers this year.

Andrea Trujillo, the Director of Brand Digital Marketing at L'ATTITUDE said “2007 to 2012 saw the US Latino population be responsible for eighty-six percent of new businesses in the United States and by 2016 almost ten percent of the presidential election voters were Latino. They adopt technology and rely on social media with seventy-seven percent of Latinos being on Facebook, sixty-two percent on YouTube and forty percent of Instagram.”
